Before investing in a high-quality juicer, you want to be sure you're getting the maximum amount of juice from your produce. To demonstrate just how much juice Kuvings Whole Slow Juicers can extract, we weighed, juiced, and measured the yield of 13 popular ingredients.
Masticating juicers crush and press the ingredients to extract the juice, much like we chew our food. This process typically yields more juice than centrifugal juicers and is just as fast. To illustrate this, we've also measured how long it takes to make 1 cup of juice. Note: Juice yield depends on the quality of your produce. Fresh fruits and vegetables provide the highest yield, as well as the best flavor and texture. Similarly, juicing speed depends on the size and quality of the ingredients.

apples
1 1/4 apples = 1 cup apple juice. Ingredients weight: 0.86 lbs. Juicing time: 1 minute and 15 seconds
Beetroot

carrots
11 carrots (each 18 cm long and peeled) = 1 cup of carrot juice. Weight of ingredients: 510 g. Juicing time: 3 minutes.
Celery
12 celery stalks (each 15 cm long) = slightly more than 1 cup of celery juice. Ingredient weight: 0.95 lbs. Juicing time: 3 minutes
cucumbers
1 ⅛ cucumbers = 1 cup cucumber juice. Ingredients weight: 0.74 lbs. Juicing time: 1 minute 10 seconds
Ginger
2 pieces of ginger = 30 ml ginger shot. Weight of ingredients: 60 g. Juicing time: 55 seconds.
Kale
1 bunch = slightly more than 1 cup of kale juice. Product weight: 1 pound. Juicing time: 6 minutes.
Oranges
2 large navel oranges (peeled) = slightly more than 1 cup of orange juice. Ingredients weight: 1.5 lbs. Juicing time: 2 minutes and 35 seconds
peaches
2 1/2 peaches (pitted) = 1 cup peach juice. Ingredients weight: 1.17 lbs. Juicing time: 1 minute 52 seconds.
pineapple
