JUICING GUIDE
How to use the smoothie sieve correctly

Change up your juicing routine by using the smoothie strainer for something new and refreshing. The Kuvings smoothie strainer is compatible with all vertical slow juicers and is incredibly easy to use.

All Kuvings vertical slow juicers are compatible with the smoothie strainer. The smoothie strainer is included with the purchase of our EVO820 series; and can be purchased separately with our C7000, B6000, and Silent Juicers. It's easy to use and makes delicious fruit smoothies!

Through the smoothie sieve

Aside from the different colors, the smoothie strainer looks similar to the juicer strainer at first glance. Same shape, small holes, and it fits in the same place in the juicer. The difference lies in the size of the holes on the side and the number of holes in the bottom. The larger holes in the smoothie strainer allow the ingredients to come out thicker than juice. There's a rubber stopper that plugs the hole in the juicer from which pulp would normally be extracted. This ensures that all the fruit ingredients are crushed and blended, giving you that delicious smoothie texture.

Here's how to use the sieve and create the perfect smoothie

This is our curated guide to creating the perfect smoothie for you to enjoy.

Two cups of smoothie

The bowl that blends all the fruit ingredients has a capacity of 400ml. This size allows you to make approximately two cups of smoothie per batch. This ensures you get the smoothest and creamiest smoothie. We strongly recommend keeping the smart lid closed for each batch to ensure your ingredients are thoroughly blended.

A cup of liquid

For each session, add at least 1 cup of liquid first. This ensures that any added ingredient is evenly mixed with the liquid in the bowl.

Small portions at a time

Remove hard pits, stones, and all shells. Add small portions of ingredients at a time. This ensures the snail can concentrate on each portion and grind the ingredients thoroughly, so no pieces are missed.

A cup of loose greens

Limit your smoothie recipe to one cup of loose greens per serving. Vegetable stems and celery should not be used with the smoothie strainer.

Soft ingredients

Start with soft ingredients first.

Hard ingredients

Finish making your smoothie by adding your hard ingredients. Hard ingredients help to absorb and digest any residue left over from the soft ingredients.

Frozen ingredients

If you're using frozen ingredients, make sure you thaw them for at least 10 minutes beforehand. Some frozen ingredients in your smoothie will give it a delicious, icy, thick texture.

Leftover pomace

You've finished making your smoothie, you pull everything apart, and all you see is leftover pulp. Please don't stress! This is 100% normal. Your smoothie strainer isn't broken; it's working as it should.
